Job Description
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage our community, and promote our events and programs. This role involves creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop, design, and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Social Media Strategy: Plan and execute social media strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the Florida Quest AAA Hockey brand voice and standards.
- Campaign Management: Coordinate and manage social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive engagement and participation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive communication and promotion of events and achievements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the sports or youth development sector.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics. Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Creativity: Ability to generate creative and engaging content ideas that resonate with our audience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Passion: A genuine passion for hockey and youth sports development is a plus.

We are seeking an organized and compassionate Billeting Coordinator to join our team and oversee this crucial aspect of our program.
Job Description
The Billeting Coordinator will be responsible for managing the billeting program, which includes recruiting, screening, and supporting host families who provide homes for our student-athletes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a deep commitment to the welfare of our players.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Screening: Identify, recruit, and screen potential host families to ensure they meet the program’s standards and requirements.
- Placement: Match players with suitable host families based on compatibility and specific needs, ensuring a positive and supportive living environment.
- Support and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for both players and host families, providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication.
- Training and Orientation: Conduct training and orientation sessions for host families to prepare them for their roles and responsibilities.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all host families comply with program policies and safety regulations. Conduct regular check-ins and home visits to monitor the well-being of the players.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise between players and host families promptly and effectively.
- Program Development: Continuously improve the billeting program by gathering feedback, implementing best practices, and maintaining up-to-date records.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, such as program coordination, youth mentorship, or family services, is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge: Understanding of youth sports programs and the unique needs of student-athletes is an asset.
- Compassion: A genuine concern for the welfare and development of young athletes and the ability to build positive relationships with host families and players.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the program.
