Florida Quest AAA Hockey Player Commitment and Agreement Contract

Introduction

The Florida Quest AAA Hockey Program is dedicated to the development of our players both on and off the ice. To ensure the success of our program and the growth of each player, we require a commitment and agreement contract to be signed by each player and their parents or guardians. This contract outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and standards that all participants must adhere to.

Player Commitment

1. Attendance and Participation

• Practice: Players must attend all scheduled practices, training sessions, and team meetings unless excused by the coach. Regular attendance is crucial for individual and team development.
• Games: Players are expected to attend all games, tournaments, and team events. Absences must be communicated in advance and approved by the coaching staff.
• Punctuality: Players must arrive on time for all team activities, fully prepared and ready to participate.

1. Effort and Attitude

• Maximum Effort: Players are required to give their best effort in all practices, games, and training sessions. Hard work and dedication are essential for improvement.
• Positive Attitude: Players must maintain a positive attitude, supporting their teammates and respecting coaches, officials, and opponents.

• Respect: Players must show respect to all individuals involved in the program, including teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.
• Sportsmanship: Players are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times, representing the Florida Quest AAA Hockey Program with integrity and honor.
• Compliance: Players must adhere to all team rules, guidelines, and the Zero Tolerance Policy outlined by the program.

• Academic Performance: Players must maintain a satisfactory academic performance, balancing their educational responsibilities with their athletic commitments.
• Support: Players are encouraged to seek academic support if needed and to communicate any academic concerns to their coaches.

Parent/Guardian Commitment

• Positive Support: Parents are encouraged to support their children and the team positively, showing respect to all players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
• Communication: Parents must communicate any concerns or issues respectfully and through appropriate channels, ensuring constructive dialogue with coaches and program administrators.

• Respectful Behavior: Parents must refrain from coaching from the sidelines, using foul language, or engaging in negative behavior that disrupts the game or practice environment.
• Adherence to Policies: Parents must adhere to the Zero Tolerance Policy and support the program’s rules and guidelines.

• Financial Commitment: Parents agree to fulfill all financial obligations related to their child’s participation in the program, including fees, equipment costs, and travel expenses.

Agreement and Consequences

By signing this contract, players and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following:
